The Farmland Lease Allocation & Farm Financing Scheme

The Farmland Lease Allocation and Farm Financing Model is specifically designed to assist individuals in Nigeria interested in agricultural endeavors. Participants may lease farmland ranging from one acre to five hectares for an annual fee that encompasses essential services such as farm security, farm insurance, land clearing, and irrigation. Additional services are available for an extra charge. Households of participating farmers will be required to contribute 35 percent equity, with the remaining 65 percent financed through loans from the Bank of Agriculture (BOA) and other Microfinance Banks (MFB) affiliated with the African Development Bank.
